POV Footage of Falcons Hunting Crows

This amazing footage comes from a falcon-mounted camera as the falcon descends upon — and eventually captures — a fellow bird.

Falcons do not typically hunt other birds of this size, but will if they are attacked or if food is scarce. ¬†Judging from the frigid and desolate climate seen in the video — my guess is that common falcon foods like small rodents were¬†extremely hard to find… thus, Captain Falcon had to bring the hammer down on one of his own.

I grew up with a small 2-acre pond in my parents' backyard. I fish by tying fishing line, hook, and bait to an empty water bottle and tossing it out on the water. I then sit on the dock and drink beer and wait for the bottle to get dragged around by some catfish, and proceed to chase it around in the paddle boat.
